I don't know. The crucial test of what they do and how well they do it seems to be that you can heat up the remainder of your pot of coffee later in the day or in the evening, and still you won't get any bitter or acid taste. Is that it? What do the other Amazons say? I say, "Works for me."

I'm so glad to find the Chemex filters again. I couldn't find them locally and Chemex is my favorite way to make coffee.

Nearly everything we eat and drink has some undesirable parts to it: stems, seeds, pits, fuzz, hair, skin, rind, fat, bone; need I go on? Coffee also has substances that simply taste bad. We normally think about just keeping the solids out of our cup. There are many more things that can ruin the product of good beans properly roasted and clean water at the right temperature. I don't claim to know what they all are, but one for certain is oils. Chemex filters capture the oils that can spoil the taste and spoil the coffee itself. I know you purists will scoff, but I love coffee. Sometimes I don't finish my cup of commute coffee and leave the cup on the dash. If I've parked in the sun, I can come out after work to a couple swallows of hot coffee that still tastes fresh...the oils that go rancid are missing from Chemex coffee. It also holds very well in a vacuum carafe. My son-in-law has some very expensive coffee machine. He was marveling at how great the Chemex coffee is from my old school pot compared to his machine. The filters not only capture the undesirables, they also control the pace of the brew. It's important to sloooow down the brewing to squeeze all of the good out of the beans. Get a Chemex pot and some filters and you will taste the best coffee you've ever had - every day.

Chemex coffee filters do what they are supposed to do -- filter coffee so that as much coffee flavor as possible gets through, without unwanted overtones. No other filters really work well with a Chemex pot, so for those of us who are hooked on Chemex, they are the only way to go.

Chemex are the only filters I have used over the last ten years. They make the perfect coffee with fresh ground beans!

I have been looking for a table to put in corner of room.. I didn't want a large table, just something to put a phone on and it looks great.....

The table was delivered with a defective part. I attempted to mail in a request for a replacement and it was denied. It has been a huge hassle and I would not suggest this product to anyone.

Great table for the money. It is exactly as advertised. Took a very short amount of time to put together. This is a very sturdy table.

it is a fine product....but was a little misleading to call it an ottoman. It was much taller than an ottoman that you would feel comfortable putting your feet on...and because it is made of wicker, not very comfortable to rest your feet on either. Like I said, it is a fine product, looks well constructed BUT definitely not in my estimation a ottoman.

I purchased two of these ottomans to use in our family room as a quick way to put the kids toys away while we are showing our house. The price was great, and the quality was better than I had anticipated. The ottomans are very sturdy and look great too. My only complaint is that the color/stain shows marks a little too easily when the ottoman gets bumped or scratched.

I was disappointed because the picture looks like the new digital song collection. Instead, it was 4 Beatle movies on VHS. I think a more realisitic picture should be used for this product.

When the Beatles first surfaced, at least for me, in 1964, on the Ed Sullivan Show, I was wondering what all the ruckus was about. I soon found out. Almost 40 years later, I'm still as obsessed, and even more so after watching the films, especially the first US tour...Why they became the phenomenon that they did will still, I think, be as big a mystery as who shot JFK, but at least these film will put you in the ballpark. God, I miss those guys. They were the soundtrack and so overwhelmingly an integral part of my life and in a very positive way, the way I view things, even in ways I never really realized...

Looks nice. The top of the light, however, is a cheap laminate and not wood.

Gives off a lovely low diffuse light, and was the perfect height for next to our platform bed. Finish is good quality, and the paper screens inside the lamp are sturdy and a nice natural color. The top was made to come on and off, but wouldn't seat properly, so my husband had to do something to make it stay still - not sure if he put a couple of penny nails, or used putty or something, but he made it so it doesn't rock any more. Floor on/off step switch broke after a year and he bought a new switch (same type) at Target and rewired the lamp. We didn't expect perfection for $99, so no gripes, just a heads-up.

I ordered the honey finish and I absolutely adore this table... it sets the mood lighting that I wanted. No, it won't hold any great weight, I have a small LCD TV on mine, but that's about it. I give it 4 stars only because I think the price is about $20 too high.

bought 2 of these. assembly was simple. completely satisfied with this purchase. the top of the table is removeable, allowing easy light bulb change. great purchase.

For the price, these are a great deal! Very easy to put together. We love the soft lighting that they give to our bedroom and the light is very unobtrusive if one has to turn a light on when the other is sleeping. We also like the height of these particular nightstands, since our bed has the taller boxspring and mattress. Only disappointments (but, we were looking for inexpensive) is that the wood is not really an "oak" look (there isn't any woodgrain) and the top isn't all that big -- you can only fit a small clock radio and, say, a tissue box, but all-in-all, we're happy with our purchase (because we were looking for inexpensive nightstands).

I was disappointed with this purchase because the condition of the product i purchased (Seinfeld series boxset) was in far lesser condition then was described which was " very good" in the product's statement. It was scratched, faded slightly and 1 part at the bottom of the exterior container had collapsed in a bit which makes it far from "Very Good" condition to me. If i knew it was in this state i would never have brought it and waited for a better copy. Other then that I love the series boxset and love seinfeld and the content within. Seinfeld is the best sitcom ever made

I bought this item twice, once as a present and once for myself. From the same seller. The first shipment was packed in a reasonable manner, not really good, because this refridgerator pack is what it's all about, and it was dented and chipped. So when ordering the next time, I asked the seller directly to pack it in a more sturdy box, which he did, lots of styropor foam to buffer, but now the packaging was ( again) dented and even had a small hole in the corner. Since they forgot to take out the pin, probably this one had been on display in their store and the pin was to communicate the price. I feel robbed because this was not mentioned at all. Since I live in Europe, it was easy for this seller, because how am I going to complain? Well: The product is fine, the seller was not honest enough on the state of the fridge, the one and only reason to buy this unit. Definitely not worth my USD 200,- !!

My order arrived quickly, but the refrigerator was damaged with a dent in the front. I contacted the seller who told me to mail it back for an exchange, but I have not yet received the replacement.

I love the fridge, if you are a fan of the show this is the pack you should buy, yeah it may be a bit expensive in some places, but it's worth it for all you get. Definetively this is the Seinfeld pack for the serious fans. Love all the extras, the coffee table book, etc etc Cheers

The four trebles and subwoofer offer superb sound quality compared to the two treble / mini subwoofer iH51 system which actually costs more. The sound is rich, deep, and clear. The EQ settings on it are preset, and the ones with higher treble cause the speakers to produce a very faint white noise. However, you can simply adjust the EQ on your input signal and set the iHome's EQ to flat to fix the problem. My only complaint would be that it no longer is entirely compatible with the newer iPod software. When it is in "display" mode, the remote control no longer functions, as well as some of the buttons on the dock. The jack on the back that attaches to the computer to connect your iPod with iTunes is so iffy that it's easier to just plug it straight into your iPod. It doesn't actually connect your iHome with the computer, just your iPod, so if you want to play anything through your stereo while it's hooked up, you have to have it running through either the AUX channel or the iPod shuffle dock. Sometimes when I leave the dock plugged in to the computer, if I attach my iPod, it does not register with the computer that it is attached, and after several attempts at unplugging and reattaching it, it occasionally establishes a connection with iTunes. However, I have read that if you install an older edition of the iPod software, the compatibility issues go away. I have yet to try this... Personally, as an audiophile, the flaws with the iTunes dock and remote do not bother me, as I looked to the product simply for the fact that it had 10x the sound of the iH51 for the same price. However, if you're looking for something up-to-date and, I guess, "modern," this would not be the ideal purchase. If you want professional sound in an affordable package, this is it. There are only a few left because it has been discontinued though, so good luck! I am 95.67% satisfied with my purchase. The package was undamaged and shipped expediently.

If I were to design a product, which has a symbiotic relationship with another product, wouldn't I want them to be compatable? The Ihome ih52b is not compatable with my Ipod. The remote isn't, which is specifically why I purchased this product. I wanted to put it in the garage, for working out there and for music in my backyard. It worked for a month. then the remote stopped changing tracks of the Ipod. I tried swapping batteries in the remote, to no avail. I contacted tech support, a person named Chee Ming told me in an email "yes, we have problems with that, try uninstalling your itunes and resetting your ipod to an earlier model or software, or return the product." Return the product? Is amazon going to take back a product older than 90 days and out of it's box? Is Target stores going to either? I doubt it. So, if you want a 200 dollar am/fm radio with an ipod dock, and what should be a full function remote which ummmm does not work for long, then by all means, go with this unit. I am disappointed. Ihome should offer to swap out either the head unit, or repair the head unit (dock) at no charge to the people who own one.

The sound sound quality & features on the iH52 are pretty good, but it has some minor flaws (no alarm clock, no ability to navigate menus/choose playlists on iPod) and one serious flaw with the remote when using newer iPods (specifically, the Nano, the Video, or the Classic), where the forward/reverse buttons on the remote don't work reliably. After a year of grumbling about those buttons and wondering if maybe I was just too stupid to use a remote correctly, I finally called iHome and got someone on the phone who knew exactly what I was talking about before I finished explaining the problem. Apparently, there's an issue w/ the hardware of the iH52 that means that it can't reliably send the correct instructions to skip tracks or scan within tracks for those newer iPods from the remote--some people have the "skip tracks" function work, others have the "scan within track" function work, and some (like me) have neither work reliably so we have to schlep ourselves over to the iHome to use those functions via the buttons on the main dock. He noted that people w/ older Nanos or Videos have reported being able to revert back to the original factory firmware and get them to work correctly w/ the iH52, but not users of the Classic (whose factory firmware is new enough to not recognize the codes that the iH52 sends when using the remote to control it). (Apparently right now the only iHome product that can reliably control the skip/scan functions of newer iPods from the remote is the iH9 (IH9 Black Alarm Clock for Ipod), which doesn't have the external speakers or subwoofer of the iH52. The iH9 reportedly also has the ability to control the entire iPod interface (including navigating menus) via the remote, and has a line-level output that could in theory be connected to a stereo system for folks for whom the lack of external speakers is a deal-breaker.)

When I bought this item, the picture given by amazon looked okay, because of the white against the black finish, but when I received it in the mail and opened the box, the white part is actually a silvery gray which made the system looked incredibly sleek and "expensive". The speakers and subwoofer works perfectly and I love playing my trance music with the subwoofer since it rounds out the music very well and creates the "boom boom boom" factor that is signature in trance music. The reason I gave this system 4 stars is because the remote control does not allow you to actually search through all your songs. You have to physically walk over to your ipod and change to albums, songs, playlists, artists, or w.e, click on one of those, and then search for your song. The remote only allows for you to skip or rewind songs, but not search for songs through your ipod. So, you basically have to make a playlist in your ipod, and then play those unless you want to constantly walk to your ipod and change it yourself. Also, using my video ipod for tvs was also great to show my videos!

Unit has better sound quality then I expected. Quick set up and flexible mounting thanks to fairly long speaker wires. It filled my needs perfectly. Totally satisfied. Joe in Wisconsin.

This cover is definitely colorful and has a nice layout of roads on it. It's padded enough that it should prevent my son from destroying our coffer table. However, I was disappointed because this cover is almost too thick to lay flat and seems like the padding will move around if I were to wash it and dry it. It feels like a puffy comforter and I had envisioned something similar to a quilt with more stitching so it lays flat. I will need to to use corner protectors underneath it to truly prevent an accident. To flatten out the cover so my son can roll his cars on top of it, I will have to rig clothes pins with ribbon in between, like suspenders or sheet corner holders.

Despite being written up as fitting a round or oval table, this does nothing of the sort. Don't buy unless you've got a rectangular table that specifically meets the manufacturer's dimensions. Also this doesn't look like it will hold up to abuse by markers or crayons or paint. This isn't waterproof.

I was worried about my baby hurting himself on our coffee table. He is 10 months old and pulls himself up to standing now. I put this cover over our table, since I didn't want to have anything adhesive on the table like the typical edge guards (which he pulled off easily anyway). For some reason, this cover seems to repel my son. :) He hasn't gone neat the table in a couple of weeks. I was initially going to return the product, because it doesn't really cushion the corners much, as other reviews also reported. However, I figure that it is better than nothing. I think my son will like to play on it once he gets a little bit older.

ITS GREAT WHEN THERE RUNNING AROUND YOU HOUSE IT PADDED AND THEY HAVE ALOT OF FUN WITH THE CARS AND TRAIN ON IT I BRING TO EVERYONE HOUSE SO I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM FALLING AND HIT THERE HEAD ON THERE TABLES.

We put this on our coffee table when our son first started to cruise around furniture. It's definitely nicer to look at than some of those edge protectors. I do wish that it had a little more cushion around the edges. It feels like it has thicker cushion around the edges than the rest of pad...I didn't use them, but some edge protectors underneath would probably help. My only complaint is that the top of the pad has some thickness to it which means that drinks aren't very steady when placed on top of the coffee table...we had to place the drinks on a coaster to make it less likely that they would tip over. My son is 18 months and the cover is still on the coffee table. He hasn't had any falls onto it yet, so I can't rate how well it would have prevented him from getting hurt. But, I do like the idea that after he gets a little older and the cover isn't needed anymore that he can use it as a play mat.

Most folks buy products made by Plan Toys because they are 1) environmentally friendly (replenishable wood and vegetable dye paint) and 2) well crafted and durable. This living room set meets all expectations and is a nice addition to the doll house (we have the Plan Toys Victorian). Yes there are sets out there with exquisite detailing but I like it clean and simple. These products have spurred many many hours of creative play and I can attest to the durability -- my youngest has "stolen" the lamp countless times only to be discovered when I step on it (still in one piece). When my kids are older I may populate the rooms with some of the small items offered by Plan Toys. Not yet though. I was not too surprised to see this very living room set (as well as other Plan Toys rooms) at the Brooklyn Children's Museum in an architectural play area suffering constant abuse by a never-ending queue of hyper kids. All the pieces were intact (including the lamp).

love the wooden toys, tired of plastic that does not feel right. i am a child psychologist and these toys work really well for young children.

I bought the living room set to accessorize the Plan Toys doll house her parents got her for Christmas. The set was a big hit with my 2 yr old niece. The pieces are sturdy, made of solid wood. I love how the Plan Toys dolls and accessories are classically designed - these will never go out of style. The only small glitch to note is that the sofa and chair cushions don't really stay in place very well - I don't think they'll last long before they're lost. Overall, a great buy.

This toy/game was first purchased for my own children to enjoy more than ten years ago. Quantumino has been the "go to" gifts so often that it is difficult to keep track of who has already been gifted with this truly deserving "Toy of the Year". Fun and challenging for adults too!
