Dream Supreme Plus 100% Gel Filled PillowsReviewsGreat pillows, but don't believe the reviews saying these feel like down. They most certainly don't! They are very fluffy and don't get too hot. Overall I like them. two pillows, squishy!nice but, wish they were a little fuller! good deal for the money! I must have a different idea of firm... but a pillow that allows my head to sink right through to the bottom doesn't qualify as firm. They are fantastically soft and fluffy though :) I throw a thin hard pillow underneath and I'm good to go :) This pillow is exactly what I have been searching for for over a year. I am a side sleeper and it has exactly the right support and softness for me. My husband is a back sleeper and he likes it too. Since using this pillow, I wake up with out any soreness in my shoulder or neck. When I opened them out of the box they fluffed up quickly and there was no strange odor. The gel in the center feels hard when I squish it around with the palm of my hand but when I lay on it I can't feel it at all. I'm so confident that these are the right pillows that I finally threw out some really old, disgusting ones that needed to go a long time ago. These are very comfortable and a great value. I ordered 2 more because I was so impressed. I like them better than down-- no shifting or poking feathers. They are soft, but supportive. I'm a side sleeper, and I use two. Average Rating:![]() |

Petsafe 6-Volt Lithium Battery (2 Batteries per Pack)ReviewsI ordered these batteries with great anticipation to continue my dog training. Upon arrival, BOTH BATTERIES WERE DEAD! Went onto amazon to look for a place to return these dead things, and low and behold, you can't return batteries. So, now I am out the money. What a joke. Replacement is cheap here, put it on for 15 minutes, leave the bark collar off all week. Purpose fulfilled. These batteries only last about a week or two depending on if you use them alot or alittle. The package info says they will only last two weeks. I wish I would have known that before I purchased them. I will try another retailer to see if I get longer life. Amazon shows the wrong battery for the Bark collar we ordered and now we are stuck with the wrong Battery due to their mistake. I am one unhappy customer who has been ordering from Amazon for years and use their Credit card all the time. Now that will end and so will my feelings for Amazon as the women who handled my call were rude and did not seem to care. Amazon fix your discription for the Innotek Bark Collar as the 3 pack you show is the wrong battery. It takes a 6Volt but in a Alkalinenot a Lithium 6volt. Signed a very upset old Amazon customer Nancy E. Vogee Batteries came from PetSafe Quickly and as described. I bought these for future use so I can not comment on their performance. AeroBed for KidsReviewsWe were looking for a travel bed to take on vacations for our 2-year-old. This is perfect! The bed is roomy enough to last for years without taking up too much space. It inflates quickly and deflates easily. And the included fitted cover is so cute and very soft. It did have a plastic smell when it came out of the package, but I just inflated it and left it out up against a wall for a couple of days and it fixed that problem. I highly recommend this product! This product is very easy to set up and take down. My two year old daughter loves the mattress. I would recommend this bed for any one looking to travel or transfer out of the crib My toddler loves this bed. It is small, easy to travel with and super easy to use. We have used it several times and my son sleeps just as well on this bed as he does at home. This is a great bed. Easy to inflate, comfortable. I just ordered another for my younger child. A must-have for anyone who travels with children! bought them for my 3 1/2 yr old grand children for Christmas and they absolutely love them. Shipment arrived promptly. They are easy to inflate and deflate. My son takes them with them everywhere they go. The only drawback is if you are in the same room with the kids, the beds make noise if the kids toss and turn a lot. Average Rating:![]() |

Once Upon a Potty for Him DVDReviewsI love this video. I bought it for my youngest grandson. His 2 older brothers had it when they were potty training, and they loved it so much, they spent hours watching it. The video got lost, so I just bought it again. It is a very fun video, and definitely keeps their attention. Highly recommended!! This is a simple and fun video that kids can relate to. It's geared a little younger, for kids just starting to potty train, so I wish I had introduced it to my son sooner. Might have saved myself some headaches. Definitely recommend, even for the most headstrong little boys like mine. As soon as we got this dvd, my toddler wanted to see it. The potty song was very catchy and it held his interest for the entire time it was on. But, that was it. He may have been too young for it. He understands the concept of sitting on the potty but at 17 months, he's not quiet ready. Maybe we'll try it again when he's closer to 2. My son is just starting potty training. He really loves this video. I bought the same one, for girls, for my daughter. We purchased the For Her and it worked great for our daughter. Potty For Him didn't work for our son. I know it was his personality and not the product. Average Rating:![]() |

Admit it: you never thought you'd be buying a video with the word potty in the title. But it's been months, and while Junior seems to love his potty, he doesn't actually do anything in it. So you need some inspiration... |

Breakfast in BedReviewsJoan Osborne does a great job with what is admittedly terrific music. If you like Motown, you'll love this CD! None of these songs needed to be covered again. But, hanging out with Joan and her rich voice is great! Mellow, rich and very comfortable. Joan Osborne has won me over again, this time as the singer of 70's soul covers and the writer of new songs to fall in love with. I strayed over to this looking for a wife gift, I tend to listen to more Jazz and Blues vocalists, yet I found her voice styling and her arrangements tight and complete. I can say proudly that my wife and I sang along with her on her covers of Kiss And Say Goodbye, Midnight Train To Georgia, Sara Smile, Break Up To Make Up and Kiss And Say Goodbye. And other than the overly maudlin Baby Is A Butterfly, Ms Osborne has given us a wonderful makeout album... oops cd. Joan has a great soulful voice and she has proved her versatility in handling everything from melodic pop to twangy country. Her love for Motown favorites can be felt on "Breakfast In Bed". A homage to early soul songs from the late '60s, "Breakfast In Bed" shows Osborne wasn't a one trick pony with her huge single "(What If God Was) One of Us". On her latest offering, she looks toward Motown, with worshipful, full-throated covers of R&B classics plus six original songs, each written with such R&B style that you first wonder if you've heard that tune before. After last year's little-heard Pretty Little Stranger released only seven months before this one, she wraps her husky voice all the way around a bunch of classics such as "Ain't No Sunshine", "Midnight Train To Georgia" and Dusty Springfield's "Breakfast in Bed". She's in fine voice throughout her debut album for Time Life, but the inclusion of her two phenomenal covers from Standing in the Shadows of Motown at the end of the collection actually highlights the album's shortcomings. The album is a real mixed bag. Her voice is excellent but her languid and almost emotion-free interptretations are pretty far from a specially adventurous and engaging record. There are no ground-breaking elements here, nothing's memorable, rather the album sways towards mainstream R&B which is a shame as the soul tracks are excellent and her potentials are limitless. It seems that she and the producer have chosen to favour the marketing and the charts over quality and originality. Great Kick back and relax music. Joan does a wonderful job on this album! Mama, There's a Man in Your Bed [VHS]ReviewsI stumbled on this movie and really like it. I think it's clever, sends a message. Basically I agree with everything everyone here says but one thing I did notice...if he is so in love with her (after all this really is a love story) why don't they show you the couple kissing? The scene where they made love was 'off'. It didn't seem like they were in love; no tender touchings or expressions. The one thing that bothered me about this movie; as if is was ok to go THIS far but not far enough to show physical tenderness. One other commenter noticed the same thing. Otherwise, good movie. When I saw this film for a film class years ago, it was called "Romauld et Juliette" and it had subtitles. It was then released here under this title, which hardly gives the impression of a lovely, moving, surprising film that starts with implications of white-collar crime but ends up with a joyful meshing of relationships. At least the "American remake" never happened--and I hope it never does. This film is perfect as it is. This is one of my favourite films. I laughed, I cried -- you get the point. A touching romantic comedy that keeps you at each moment and twist. The ending is abit predictable and inevitable, but it's very much good fun getting there! A funny film! I really love the leads in this film. Daniel Auteuil is great, as always! He's got a great body of work and this comedy doesn't taint but adds to the shine of his film career!Even though the film is a comedy, there is a lot to say about the social issues embedded in the story. Class, race, crime and gender relations all play an important part in the film. This film should not be remade in any language. It should stay intact the way it is and seen by everyone! In Finland this was named: "Mama, there's a white man in your bed!" as one of Juliette's children says in the movie. A nice twist that makes you wonder, what the movie is about. I saw this on TV and was later very happy to find the video about these unexpected lovers, Romuald and Juliette. Romuald is a real yuppie, a director of Blanlait-company that makes yoghurt and is aiming to conquer new international markets. Juliette is an African cleaning-woman in the same company - and when she moves around unseen by 'important people' and empties the waste baskets, she stumbles on the office plots, which escape the director entirely, as he is being busy and powerful. And then one day everything seems to go wrong and Romuald works late to find out, what really happened...Juliette comes in and suddenly asks, why he doesn't contact one of his employees. "Because he's in Lyon", Romuald answers politely but arrogantly. "People aren't always where you think they are", Juliette says. She asks him to call the man at his home in Paris and dictate to the answering machine: "I know everything, it has all come out" and in less than 15 minutes the man would come. And he should also call home, because her wife isn't there. And she leaves - and finally he calls. Juliette was right...So starts this coalition: Romuald asks Juliette about everything, about his own secretary, money laundering, poisoning at the factory and so on - and lives in the run down apartement of Juliette and her children - all with different fathers. He hides from problems and acts like a polite but selfish hotel guest. Until he leaves to take back his place in the Blanlait company and his family. And realizes, he's in love with Juliette - who in turn has had enough of him. Romuald must win her over. Daniel Auteuil (Romuald) is really charming in this movie, his haircut is by the way very becoming. He doesn't look this good in most of his movies. And Firmine Richard is delightful - as are the children. I've seen this over and over again, it is a really nice movie, it believes in people and goodness though shows people as flawed as they are - cheating wives and husbands, selfish children and plotting business men. If you're down and you can't think of a sure pick-me-up, this is it. Average Rating:![]() |

Bear in the Big Blue House - Early to Bed, Early to Rise [VHS]ReviewsMy one year old daughter loves it and my son loved it when he was two! Plus, mom and dad think it's amusing too. :) This Bear in the Big Blue House captures all the charm and wonderment of getting ready for bed and getting up - and all of the "Bear" characters. The characters are alive with personality and my daughter loves it. My husband and I love it too. It is a "must have". I bought this DVD for my granddaughter and grandson. They love Bear in the Big Blue House. They keep the children's attention and also give them a lesson at the same time. They are just wonderful. My son loves Barney and Little People and would watch those for hours if I would let him (no way). I bought this DVD because I wanted to encourage him with tooth brushing and bed habits with a fun video. And, it took Bear and all of his friends...what seemed to be an hour of video...to get to bed! I was bored to tears. My toddler didn't last very long at all. The bed habits, which seemed more like "how much can I stall before I go to bed" or procrastinate, were not exactly what I wanted my son to learn. I just did not like this video at all. Sorry. We also bought the Bear Dance Party Video. My son DOES like that one. To each their own, I guess! Criteria for a children's video: 1. Do kids like it? Yes, my toddler loves this, sings along, and asks me to sing along, too. 2. Can the parents watch it without going bonkers? Yep, so far, so good, every time I see it again I notice new things. The puppets are sophisticated and the characters distinct. The music is fabulous, mostly inspired by modern American folk--how great to hear simple fiddle music and guitar instead of overproduced "showtunes." The simple music also means that if I sing the songs afterward, it sounds close to what my child remembers from the show. 3. Since kids will copy anything they see on TV or in a book, what is going on in this video? Gentle humor, good manners, good music. All things I'm glad to see her emulate. That's the bare bones (ha!) of liking this series. But it goes beyond the basic. __Bear__ has subtle messages about food, getting along, and social differences. For instance, in one episode, Tutter the mouse is eating a sandwich, which he must learn to share. OK, we could see that coming. BUT! Without making a big deal over, it, the producers made the sandwich on whole wheat bread, quietly supporting good nutrition. Another example or two; when Ojo the bear cub sleeps over, Bear makes her bed, very cozy, on the couch. When they have a birthday party (in a different episode), it's home made decorations and one meaningful present. A quiet message that you don't have to have a great deal of money to have a good time. And there are significant female characters (Ojo, Shadow, Luna) who aren't made into gooey subservients as in so many kids videos (or feature films, for that matter). Bear is the leader of the series, but often sings harmony to some other character, giving a simple message that you don't always have to be number one. Hooray for Bear! Average Rating:![]() |

Evening and morning routines take center stage in this two-episode tape. In "Go to Sleep," Bear's small bear friend Ojo is spending the night but fights sleep even though she is tired. Meanwhile, a friendly game of "Go Fish" in the kitchen keeps waking Tutter the Mouse, whose hole is only feet away... |

Moth Away Sachets - Nontoxic - 24 Pack (White) (24 Sachets)ReviewsI hate the smell of the classic moth balls, so I got this; very good for the price, and so far it kept the moths away (I had it for about 4 months now) - My mother in law came to live with us, and brought all her clothes from her house, where she used to have a moth problem. I have used this for storing Christmas and other clothing for a long time and I really love it. The herbal smell is SOOOO much better than the old nasty moth balls! The seller was fantastic and sent it to me pronto!! Easy transaction! I used these satchels in bags of alpaca fiber after my animals were sheared. I had to store the fiber for several years before I sent it off to the mill and one of my worst fears was moths getting into the fiber. These satchels were a god send! I didn't want to use moth balls because they are notorious for leaving a noxious smell. This product smells wonderful and after 2 years of storage my fiber is moth free and I just got my yarn back from the mill! Mission accomplished. I put these in with some knitting yarn to ward off the moths and wound up with moth farm! Moths were in sachets and ate their way out and into the yarn nearest sachets leaving herbs and ruined yarn. Effective for a year?? Hah! Was less than a year when I found out that moths had destroyed my yarn! Cedar blocks and space bags are the way to go if you are trying to protect your garments! I'd give this item zero or negative stars if I could! Why would anyone opt for smelly camphor when they can have their sweaters scented with a light, refreshing herbal sachet. Not sure as yet about their effectiveness against moths (and by the way, moths don't eat sweaters -- it's the eggs they lay that do the damage) but I do like the herbal scent. I've put these in all my drawers not only with the wools and cashmeres. Average Rating:![]() |
