Panasonic NI-C78SR Steam/Dry Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate Panasonic NI-C78SR Steam/Dry Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate

Reviews

I am so happy I purchased this iron. I went to a friends house and she had one. After using it one time I knew I wanted to own one. And I am so glad I did. I don't even use starch anymore. This iron makes my shirts look amazing all by itself. I'm not a person that writes reviews but it was a great purchase!!

After reading the reviews on this iron I had some relunctance in purchasing one (heavy, detachable water compartment). However, I love this iron! I do a lot of sewing and I actually iron all my clothes so I use the iron constantly. The heaviness enhances the iron's ability to get all the wrinkles out without a lot of effort on my part. The detachable water compartment is so convenient - just take it to the sink and fill; no more having to take a container of water to the iron and hope you don't spill part of it on the ironing board. I also prefer the stainless soleplate to the teflon coated ones. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this iron a week after purchasing a very poorly designed Black & Decker steam iron that I hated. For roughly the same price, this Panasonic iron is much more satisfying. The iron heats up quickly and generates lots of steam. I wish the water tank was larger, because I use the steam button pretty aggressively and I can run the tank down after ironing just two items. The retractable cord works very well and which will prevent this iron from being pulled down on to my daughter's head. The chart listing the settings for different fabric types in on the bottom for some reason, but I can live with that. This iron isn't perfect but I'm happy with my purchase.

I have lots of silk blouses that requires frequent ironing. I bought this iron to replace my 10 year old model mostly because of the vertical ironing function with jet-of-steam. It works like charm on my silk blouses. I also like the push-button retractable cord reel for the sake on convenience. I agree that the base is not stable. It causes some safety concern. Manufacturer should improve on it.

I have had this iron for almost 2 months and like it a lot. It's easy to fill, heats up quickly and steams nicely. I have only one minor criticism. The tip of the iron is somewhat blunt as opposed to my previous iron which had a pointier tip. I do a fair amount of quilting and it's a bit more difficult to press seams but not impossible. I would definitely purchase it again in spite of this.

RSVP Terry's Tamper RSVP Terry's Tamper

Reviews

Based upon the recommendations of others, I ordered Terry's Tamper along with a DeLonghi coffee maker. The tamper arrived very quickly and prior to the DeLonghi. Though the directions included with the DeLonghi did not stress tamping as an important step in the coffee-making process, I know from experience that it is quite important to achieve the coveted "crema" inherent to a perfect espresso. This tamper does that easily and effectively and far exceeds the utility of the built-in DeLonghi tamper (an awkward plastic disk attached to the machine). This accessory is an important to a good cup of coffee as a proper steaming pitcher is to good steamed milk.

This item is a single piece of polished cast aluminum. For my machine (a DeLonghi EC155) I use the smaller end which fits well into the portafilter with only a few milimetres of gap. I can apply good downward pressure without discomfort. It does its job well.

I needed something flat and cheap to tamp coffee. You don't do better than this for the price. I don't have an espresso machine but rather a Krups Moka Brew (highly recommend that as well) and it is suggested that you tamp the grinds for the style of coffee maker that it is. This works perfectly for the task at hand. I'm a little perplexed at the high priced tampers for sale out there. I mean, really, it's a flat surface that you apply pressure to. Duh. Save money and buy this product.

This tool make life so much easier so take the plung and save your self the aggrevation when it comes to compressing your expresso you won't regret it.

This is a well made coffee tamper, but the smallest end of it is too wide in diameter to be used with my Mr. Coffee Expresso Machine. As a result, I had to return it. If you have a Mr. Coffee Expresso machine you should look to a different tamper.

Designed by a professional barista, this tamper is made of heavy cast metal and compresses espresso like nobody's business.

50 Ultra Thin Velvety Smooth Space Saving Hangers 50 Ultra Thin Velvety Smooth Space Saving Hangers

Reviews

Based on the reviews I read online, I wanted to re-organize my closet. The hangers are soft, velvety touch to them, compared to the plastic hangers which take up too much space, these hangers are awesome! I would certainly recommend these hangers to people who are looking to upgrade their closet space. The uniform look makes it easier to organize clothing. I love them! Will be purchasing more of these.

Super product. used them all and freed up space in my closet immediately. Would recommend to anyone with closet crowding issues

One of the best investments you can make, especially if you have limited closet space. No more clothes in the floor or wrinkled from over-stuffed closet.

I read the reviews and was skeptical, but my mother had these hangers (although she paid more money for the Joy Mangano brand). My hangers arrived today and both myself, and my husband, are speechless! I went from a home with a walk-in-closet to a tiny cape cod closet. I bought these hangers and let me tell you- they work WONDERS! The only thing I regret is buying just one pack of 50. So many clothes fit in my tiny closet that I have room for at least another 100! Now I haven't owned them long enough to comment if they do make a diffenence on maintaining proper shape throughout the shoulders and such, but I can say they do grip my spaghetti strap tops VERY well and the construction seems excellent. I'll be buying more come pay day!

These hangers are great. Made all my sweaters look like new. No hanger marks. Take up much less space and nothing slips off and gets cat hair on it! Worth the money.

Average Rating:

Keep your closet organized with these thin, but sturdy, velvety smooth hangers. The gentle curves preserve the shape of the clothing, while the velvety smooth texture prevents slipping. Ultra slim design maximizes closet space.

The Six Wives of Henry VIII - Complete Set [VHS] The Six Wives of Henry VIII - Complete Set [VHS]

Reviews

I understand that most of the people that have watched this have given it good reviews. I could barely stay awake and not laugh at the overacting and in my opinion the awful acting of Michel who played Henry. They then jump from queen to queen not showing any trials or the political intrigue that took place in the court of king henry. Apparently you have to envision in your mind what took place. Any person not knowing the history of events would be lost watching this fragmented mess. DON'T BUY IT!!!!

the plot how keith mitchell plays king henery is wonderful.I saw this when it first came out on pbs in the 70's and I loved every minute of it. the actresses who played the wives were wonderful also.

This is simply the best portrayal of the King, his wives, the life, and the times ever done. Historically accurate, beautifully cast, well written, and performed marvellously, this series offers true insight into the people and the age. Skip THE TUDORS! This is it!

I first saw this series when it aired on CBS and later on Masterpiece Theatre. It is as remarkable and memorable today as it was originally. It is always important to remember that the story lines of these wives are not always 100% historically accurate, but they are very, very entertaining. The cast was superb, and having the same actors/actresses portraying significant characters like Kranmer, Cromwell, the Seymour brothers, Lady Rochford, etc., added to the overall enjoyment. Keith Michell's Henry the Eighth greatly overshadows Charles Laughton's Oscar-winning portrayal of this monarch.

When Tudors showed each week, I remembered a BBC series I enjoyed in the 70's about Henry VIII. I ordered it and enjoyed it as much as the first time I saw it. The series was the first of it's kind and was a big deal back then. Here in 2009, the series seems very old fashioned, but it was factual and I think the costumes are better than the Tudor series. Keith Mitchell, who played Henry, was made to look exactly like the king, which made it believable. Keith Mitchell also acted brilliantly in the different physical changes the actual king went thru and I think, after Henry's accident to his leg and getting obese and his wound so putrid all the time, how did those poor young women that he married, endure it! If anyone wishes to buy this series, I think you will feel as though you are actually looking thru a window and watching the great Henry himself. This is one memory lane that I love to stroll down! Excellent! Also, at this time, a weekly series of Elizabeth R came out on BBC. Glenda Jackson portrays her exactly how she really looked. Pat S. Florida

Closet Land [VHS] Closet Land [VHS]

Reviews

Another reviewer expressed confusion as to whether this film was about childhood sexual abuse or political torture. The answer is it's about both. Kudos to the film for illuminating the common, underlying dynamic between the two. It's incredibly intense and graphic - I had to stop the tape at one point and just breathe. But it's the closest thing I've seen on film to my own experience as an incest survivor. For more along this line, watch the excellent "Death and The Maiden" with Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley and Stuart Wilson. And seriously, don't show this film to anyone under 18, no matter how mature you think they are.

This is a one movie that I wish would come out on DVD. It is one of the best films i have ever seen.

I just saw Closet land and I am still overwhelmed by it. I like watching films with Alan Rickman anyway, but his and Madeleine Stowes performance is surely "art", the kind of thing we germans call "Kammerspiel" (chamber play). I am very sure I will watch this film again, then I might be able to note more nucances. Being german, I had to concentrate on the dialog the first time I saw it.

I originally saw this video for Alan Rickman's performance and as usual he doesn't disappoint. But be prepared for a very unpleasant movie. This is the story of a children's author that is brought in for "questioning" by a nameless government. The whole film takes place in one room where she is questioned (tortured) by a government official (Rickman). The story quickly becomes psychological warfare between the two characters as the "victim" is not as easily broken as the government inquisitor first thought. By the end of the movie the balance of power has shifted and it's the inquisitor who may break under his own sadism. The violence in the movie is not horror movie graphic but it is far more brutal in its realistic potrayal. The actual acts are cut-aways that you don't see(mostly) but the suggestion of the acts make you squirm. I did find the strange sub-plot of their relationship revealed at the end to be out of place. I didn't think it necessary to the stark experimental plot. But that's just my opinion. The ending is left up to the viewer. Did he free her or kill her? After seeing this film you will feel grateful for the freedoms that we have. To read, critisize or praise any film or book. I know I am.

This is one of the best movies that I have ever seen, and I will never EVER voluntarily see it again. I also won't tell you the plot, just go into this knowing it's not a "feel good" movie but is so brilliantly written directed and acted that it qualifies as an experience.

Belkin 12-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector with Phone/Ethernet/Coaxial Protection and Extended Cord Belkin 12-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector with Phone/Ethernet/Coaxial Protection and Extended Cord

Reviews

This surge protector is a great value and a very feature laden product for it's type. The cord organizer is a very welcome addition. Once routed through to thier respective outlets the mass of attached AC cords no longer looks like an 'electrical porcupine' but instead as a very well designed and neat feature with very visible and immediate benefits. I've had many power strips in the past but this one extra feature has been long overdue. Remember ...."neatness counts" As you may know it has surge protection as well for RJ-11 (telephone) RJ-45 (Ethernet) and coaxial (75 ohm multimedia cable) I am currently only using the Ethernet jacks..BUT as one other reviewer mentioned, I had to hunt and search as the Ethernet jacks 'were nowhere to be found'. I nearly called Amazon for an RMA. Well after sitting on the floor pondering this and cussing a little too I somewhat reluctantly tried peeling away a 'warning label' of some sort and 'Lo and Behold" were the 2 Ethernet jacks. I saw the warning label earlier and did not attempt to remove it. After all it was there as a 'warning' so I may benefit from seeing it another time. How silly to hide the Ethernet jacks beneath a warnming label that, like me, many folks would not ever consider removing. Belkin should have had the warning label ALSO declare that the Ethernet jacks were hiding beneath. How proposterously silly and ridiculous to obfuscate them beneath a very valid warning label without declaring thier whereabouts beneath. Frankly ladies and gentelmen, it pissed me off. Not the searching as I did find them, but the use of a warning label to hide them. The label could have easily been edited to say "The Ethernet jacks are underneath". Anyway my other complaint is that this add-on surge protector advertises Ethernet / Telephone / Coaxial surge protection and rightly so..BUT it fails to include an input jumper cable of each type so one can actually use it right out of the box. I realize the product literature does not say one way or the other if input cables are included. Many other devices that are an ADD-ON to existing systems DO INCLUDE the required cables so one can actually ADD-ON the accessory. I had to go to the store and purchase an Ethernet cable....this is MY FAULT for not investigating more thoroughly pre-sale but live and learn. I agree with all the other reviews about number of outlets provided and spacing for wall warts etc..so no further remarks on that needed. I would still recommend this unit 100% with the foreknowledge one will need to beg borrow or buy input cables beforehand in order to actually use this product right out of the box for RJ-11, RJ-45, and Coaxial protection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

Once the product arrived I untangled the mess of power cords I had under my computer desk. I have used other belkin surge protectors in my office and have been satisfied with them. This was a factor in deciding to purchase this one. I really like the surge protector's number of outlets and the order they are arranged. However I believe the manufacturer could improve the mounting holes it has on the bottom for mounting the device on the wall. This is a bit challenging under a desk. I would like to see the mounting holes moved farther apart or extended to where they protrude on the ends and one could just screw it to the wall. At the very least the manufacturer could provide a sheet with the mounting hole pattern for placement. The product has worked very well. The small power transformers that I have plugged in have not become disconnected or fallen out with the protector wall mounted. I would choose this product again.

After using this product for one day there were mild light fluctuations in the house. No other equipment or surge suppressor in the house was damaged but this surge suppressor stopped working. I have to seriously think about buying Belkin suppressors any more.

For this item, BE112234-10, the box has these Technical Specifications: Continuous Duty Electrical Rating: 125V/15A/60Hz/1875W Maximum Energy Dissipation: 4156 Joules H-N: 2052 Joules H-G: 972 Joules N-G: 972 Joules Phone Line: 160J Joule is a measurement o fenergy a surge protector component can absorb. Higher amperage rating reflects greater absorption capacity against lightning or sudden dramatic power spikes. UL Clamping Voltage (3-Line): UL 1449 330V Response Time:

Belkin's site doesn't specify what the response time of this surge protector is. You can have a higher joule rating but if it takes more than 10 nano second (one hundred millionth of a second) for it to respond, it won't provide much protection to your electronics. I see response time rating for lower priced surge protectors on their web site, and from that one may "conclude" that this higher priced item should be equal or better. From the warranty (though pretty much useless) of $300K for connected devices stated for this product, one could assume it has a faster response time than 10 nano seconds. I wrote to Belkin's customer service, and they themselves couldn't find the data for response time for this product. If a company cannot state specifications for its own products, it tells a lot about that company. I also searched the web and couldn't find this info. If anyone could find this spec anywhere, please respond to this review with that info. If response time is indeed good, then the other specs make this a compelling product to buy.

Belkin 6 Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector Belkin 6 Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector

Reviews

I bought this because it was cheap. Well, I got what I paid for. I plugged my TV, cable box, and wireless router into this strip and watched TV for awhile. It seemed to work fine. Then I walked across the room and opened a door and boom, all three of those devices went out. I'm not exaggerating, all it took was opening the door vigorously for the power to flicker and the devices to turn off. I went back and tried repositioning the power strip, turning it off, turning it back on, everything I could think of. Simply by moving it around, I would cause the power to flicker and the devices would turn off and then turn back on again a moment later when I moved the power strip again. I can't tell if it's because the switch on top is finicky -- it has an "off" position and a "reset" position, but no clearly marked "on" position, so the middle position must be "on" but the switch is so floppy and insubstantial that you can't tell what position it is in. The problem may also be that the internal wiring on my model is faulty, hence the flickering. Whatever the reason, it doesn't work. I plugged my devices back into the wall directly and they work fine. Spend a bit more and don't waste your money taking a chance on this power strip. I'm kind of irritated because it's not worth the hassle to send it back so I'll just have to go buy a better one at Target or someplace.

There's not too much to say about this surge protector. It's cheap and it provides power. I wish the outlets were rotated 90 degrees to make "wall warts" fit a bit better.

The Belkin 6 Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector is a practical power strip that offers basic protection, 6 outlets, and is slim. There's a standard warranty on the surge protector in the case it fails to do its job. The only complaint I have about the power bar is that the power cable is short. I didn't realize how short 2.5 feet were until I tried to move the bar under my desk and couldn't get it that far under, away from the wall outlet.

After using this surge protector for a month, it suddenly died. The only things that were plugged in it were a bedside lamp, a cell phone charger, and occasionally a laptop adapter. I recommend against purchasing this surge protector, and instead spending a few more dollars to get a better model. The $10-13 ones are much better.

I have chosen this item because it is cheap and because of the user reviews were OK. When I received the first outlet it almost exploded when I plugged it and pulled the switch. It was connected to my Internet router (the device I wanted to protect!) and I was worried it had been damaged. It was not the case, so I think that the surge protector somehow worked. This is why I asked for a replacement. I am using the new surge protector with no problems at all. Currently my Internet router, laptop, NAS and printer are connected to it and everything works fine.

SET OF 2 STEEL HANGER CASCADERS SET OF 2 STEEL HANGER CASCADERS

Reviews

Good - Metal is sturdy, allows me to hang more hangers in my tiny dorm closet. Bad - Moves crowding from the top of closet to bottom. Picture depicts the closet being cut in half, but because most of my clothes hung are thick jackets it doesn't quite work that way. I think this is better for a lot of shirts, and not heavier/thicker clothing.

I purchased some plastic cascaders that didn't work at all. I saw these were steel and decided to try them. While you only get two per order, they are worth their weight in gold. They are the only reliable cascaders that I've seen thus far.

Item showed as being available but wasn't; it took about a week after order was placed for vendor to acknowledge that it wasn't going to be shipped. Subsequent emails requesting status update were either ignored or erroneous in their information. Item finally (supposedly) shipped about a month after order placed. Ship date: 2/18; estimated arrival date: 2/4. Nice trick! If the quality of the merchandise is anything like the quality of customer service, I'm in trouble....

These helped, they were sturdy and did help save some space and also helped organize. They are good for hanging shirts, blouses, and maybe thin pants on, I would not try hanging a bunch of sweaters or jeans on them though. While they are sturdy enough for it, if you have a lot of clothes in your closet hanging thick items on these wont save much space.

The steel wonder hanger works really well for my small closet. I bought 2 sets of these and it was definitely worth it. The clothes don't even hang low to the ground. This is a great deal at a very good price.

Forget the Counter-Terrorist aspects of this DVD set.....forget all about Cops..or Good vs Evil...this is SOAP OPERA of the highest order....what DAYS OF OUR LIVES and the late ANOTHER WORLD aimed for, so gallantly....this is serious Brain/Eye Candy...and it took me a couple of viewings to realize as much...Kiefer Sutherland i "admire" at second hand..his father, Donald, was very good...'when he was good"...but when he was bad he was horrid...same for the son.....if you like Car Chases...Gun Play to the Max..and Screaming Women...this one's for you....will I watch it again?...You bet.....and i want to know what happens in Season 2, anyway.....

I think 24 is one of the best shows going. The first season was great, though I think later seasons were even better. I enjoyed it with my wife and 25 year old son.

24 has been one of the best television shows for a long time now, but season one of 24 is the best season of ANY television show. EVER. Watching this season on dvd is one of the best entertainment experiences you'll ever have. What makes 24 season one so great is the intensity and pacing of each episode. Each episode leaves you wanting more and more. Its almost like one long 24 hr episode that you can't turn away from. Its addicting, rewarding, surprising, fun, cool, suspenseful, and tragic. The show also takes more risks than other tv shows which pays off tremendously. Jack is an awesome main character. His violent bad boy side, combined with his good heart and love for his family make him one of the best tv protagonists ever. Later seasons tend to have crazy plot twists that borderline on the bizarre, but season one has one main plot that paces perfectly. What also makes this season awesome is how it is centered on family. While later seasons try to be bigger and badder by killing more people and making the scope more grand, in season one, its PERSONAL. And thats what makes it more powerful. You actually care about these characters while in later seasons you tend to laugh when the killings begin. If you have an inkling of interest in this show, CHECK it OUT. It's a hell of a ride.

Received series 1 of the TV show 24. So far we have gotten through 3 discs out of 6. The discs are not in very good condition. Had to get a disc cleaner and use it in between each episode on disc. 1. Now we just use it automatically when we start a new disc. Very frustrating when trying to watch and it keeps on freezing.

I'm a late newcomer to this series and have just finished watching the first season. While I don't have the benefit of having seen any later seasons, I can maybe offer other newbies a concentrated perspective on what to expect. What this show has going for it in this season are solid acting, suspense, exciting action, and a cloak-and-dagger plot full of red herrings. These are all great, if you like this sort of thing. It all kept me reaching for disc after disc to find out what happens next. In this sense 24 is addictive and very fun. The show succeeds on its own terms, and that will be enough for most. But there are some weaknesses that, though aware people will catch them, shouldn't make a huge difference in the viewing enjoyment of most. These small things can perhaps be summed up this way: the plausibility of what you see is strained in that everything is just a little too tidily packaged. First, the show ignores the little mundanities that aren't exciting but that still sap some credibility at real-life/real-time portrayal if they're missing. Lots of little things added up after a while - when did these people go to the bathroom? How did all that driving to and from places in LA not add up to more than the time we saw? Why were the little lapses of very tired /stressed people pretty much missing in the last hours? Etc Etc. Second, a lot is asked of us to believe that double agents, special forces, and others could conform to such intricate machinations when we see utter human error on display in our real life government agencies and bureaus. In other words, there's a bit too much agents-as-superheroes. Third, when so much is crammed into one day in this season, and in what looks like 7 more seasons, we have a situation of lightning striking 8 times. We're asked to accept that the wildest series of events unfold only in the space of a mere day not once, but multiple times over 8 years. It's a bit incredible, even for a TV show. But these are little things. It's all still a lot of fun, and I intend to try the next season.

Having just been canned from his job on his day off, Craig and his best friend Smokey spend the day smoking up in their South Central neighborhood while dealing with a neighborhood bully, relationship troubles, an angry drug dealer, and a lot of other odd characters. This movie has a hilarious supporting cast, including John Witherspoon, Tiny Lister, and Bernie Mac. If you ever have a chance to see this movie, and enjoy urban comedy and Chris Tucker, don't even hesitate to watch.

Needless to say this movie is a classic!!! I saw the movie was released on Bluray and bought it spontaneously. The transfer isn't as good as I hoped and I barely consider it an upgrade from the DVD. If you already own the DVD, then I'd recommend just saving your money.

The original Friday is a classic. The extra footage and material still bring new laughs to this viewer. Wish they would have added a copy of the original theatre release as well.

I've owned this movie on VHS, DVD, and now Bluray. It's awesome to see this movie in the Bluray format. Everyone should check it out!

This Movie is hilarious. Deebo, Big Worm, Craig, Smokey, Mr. Jones, Mrs. Parker, Felisha, Paster Clever played by the late Bernie Mac, crack head Ezal, please don't step on the grass Stanley, and you got Knocked The Fk Out Red.......lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Will & Grace - Season Two Will & Grace - Season Two

Reviews

Maybe this show appeals to some people, but to me the characters seem like a bunch of annoying, whiny retards. I can't stand the voices of the main actors - two of them shriek rather than talk. Rather than provide comedy that everybody can enjoy, Will & Grace revolves around cliches and gay sex jokes. Debra Messing is the only salvation in the show, but she's not enough to save bad comedy.

This will have you rolling in the isles Im still sad that its over but all good things come to an end I guess

I Really Love this show, the whole cast is super funny. Karen is hialrious with her sarcastic jokes, and jack with his crazy self. Love this Series!

I have no complaints at all. What I paid for was what I recieved. Arrived quickly.

Excellent service by this vendor. My DVD was in very good shape and was sent to me within days of my ordering it.

After a first season made controversial by the mere presence of openly gay characters, Will & Grace returned triumphantly with renewed confidence and vigor. In their second season, sidekicks Jack and Karen (the very, very funny Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally) are more snide and gleefully obnoxious than ever; Will (Eric McCormack) has perfected his prickly panache; and in particular Grace (Debra Messing) has entered a whole new plane of sexy goofiness, diving even more headlong into physical comedy--such as the episode when, in order to woo a high school crush, she gets a water-padded bra that springs a leak...

Like the product, it arrived very quickly. Still trying to figure out how much I like it, but the seller did a great job with communication and shipping.

I have had low back pain for years. It has gotten to the point that I never have a day with no pain. It is usually pain that I can tolerate but sometimes by back is especially stiff and sore. I used the product for about 5 minutes and my back feels better than it has for at least a couple years. I wouldn't believe this review if I hadn't written it myself. This is the best 15 bucks I've ever spent.

There is nothing wrong with this product, and it is very reasonably priced. However, it's not very helpful either.

My chiro recommended that I get one of these. The one he had in mind was much more expensive. After reading the reviews, I thought I would try this one. I brought it into his office and got a stamp of approval. Much more affordable and the padding is better than the more expensive versions. This unit provides a significant stretch - not a bid deal that it cannot be adjusted. I hear and feel my spine aligning as I lay back on it. Great product for the price - you will not be disappointed!

This is a fantastic item sold at a great price (much more expensive elsewhere). I have been using this item for over a year and it has kept me pain-free. I used to visit my chiroprator every few months due to back pain, but with this, I just keep it on my bed and use it every night before I go to bed. A minute or two of arm-stretching and sit-ups as you move yourself up and down on the arch will adjust most vertebra on your back and keep them in perfect allignment. I've even gotten my own back BACK into line after lifting something heavy and pulling it out.....pain gone. It's saved me hundreds in Dr. visits. I have purchased a couple more to give to friends. The only down-side is the cheap naugahide cover can't stand up to my cats fighting on it and I had to repair it with black duct tape.

Bought this product after reading reviews and checking prices- I use this in a gun safe and have had no problems, working well after several months and I'm very pleased with it.

I am not sure mine is working, I have had it in a damp area for over a week now and the crystals have not changed color at all. I was so excited about this thing, what a bummer...

I was very pleased with this product. it works great for small areas, I put mine in a gun safe and about every two weeks it needs recharged. for the money I would recomend this to anybody.

I am using this in a small fireproof safe that was getting very damp and it has done a great job of keeping the moisture level down and it no longer smells musty.

Roll on Lotion Applicator - Style 35372 Roll on Lotion Applicator - Style 35372

I used one of these on and off for about 6 months. It is very poorly constructed. And it does not work well anyway. The lotion is not applied well. The balls do not roll very well. some of the lotion dries up and then the balls get stuck. I got frustrated with it and left it, but then decided to try it again. I was still very disappointed. Then a piece of the side wall just broke off. I decided then I've had enough of the crap and threw it away. I would not recommend this product it all. I wouldn't even want it for free.

The applicator works well. The lack of complete threads attaching the lotion container to its lid is sometimes a problem. It is difficult to get the lotion container fasted to its lid because there is only enough threads to do about a 1/2 turn. The old worn out applicator I replaced looked like the new one, but it had enough threads to make one or 2 full turns while fastening it.

Works as advertised, sturdy, rolls on an even application of Lotion. I was skeptical, but it works.

my applicator is 6 years old and has worked like a charm. the little balls are starting to fall out so will be purchasing a new one. wouldn't ever be without one again!

I have had this applicator for a few years...the balls are beginning to fall out...not very effective now...don't know how long it's supposed to last, but mine is no longer useful.

Electronic Closet Rack Tie Rack by Necktie Accessories - Silver Plastic Electronic Closet Rack Tie Rack by Necktie Accessories - Silver Plastic

Does not fit on home wooden closet poles. Very cheaply made. Parts broke trying to attach. Not even worth for us to return as we already paid for shipping once.

This tie rack seems to work very well. It was easy to put the batteries in and also easy to put on the clothes pole. The speed is fast - almost too fast, but all in all, so far, this seems to be a very good tie rack. My husband is happy with it.

The motor is so fast, one can't pick a tie as the blur of ties zoom by. Slow it down!

I have three motorized tie racks and this is the only one that seems to have a strong enough motor to spin without struggling when fully loaded. You do not have to remove the closet pole to install as some have suggested, it installs VERY easily. The only thing I have not figured out is how to stop it from rotating when it comes to the tie I want. I pop out a battery to stop it, this is not a big deal and does not lower my rating.

Just recently purchased, this is my third electronic tie rack. This one holds the most ties, is the most quiet, and fast. I hope it lasts, it seems to be more sturdy than the others I have had. Please note, you do not have to remove the closet pole to install, just remove the clip place over and under pole and screw clip and rack together.

Froggie Soft Spout Guard Froggie Soft Spout Guard

Reviews

You get what you pay for. I previously had a spout protector from another company. It lasted nearly 4 years and needed to be replaced. Thought since I have been pleased with the Sassy brand for many years that I'd try this cute frog out. What an error! The frog is too big for my bath spout and falls right off. The back of it is not at all designed for spouts of various sizes. It is definitely "one size doesn't fit all". Just a waste of money.

This froggie spout guard I ordered from Amazon, com. relieves my mind that my grandchildren won't scrape their backs on the tub facuet. It works well and stays in place even when the water is flowing through it.

This ended up being a bad idea for us because having a cheerful looking frog on the faucet made it much more appealing than it was before when our son mostly ignored the faucet. It fit well if you push it on and then don't touch it, but our son of course wanted to touch Mr. Froggie and ended up pulling it off. Now it is just a bath toy since it never stays on for very long because he pulls it off. We don't have a little thing to pull up on the spout to make sure it sticks on. It would be nice if the plastic was a little bit more flexible and it could be pushed onto the faucet more tightly. That said, if you can get your kids to look at it, rather than touch it, it might serve its purpose well. Although, it is still pretty hard if they hit their head on it - maybe something softer would work better. So - not great, not terrible. I wouldn't buy it again, obviously.

This is supposed to be a safety feature for children while in the tub. If they happened to hit their head on it they would probably need stitches or medical attention. A faucet protector needs to be soft and full of foam. I bought one years ago for my kids, now can't find one for my grandkids. I loved Amazon.com and their fast service.

It's really cute but doesn't stay on very well. My daughter barely touches it and it falls off. Not effective if it spends more time floating in the tub.

TiVo AG0100 Wireless G USB Network Adapter for TiVo Series 2 and Series 3 DVRs TiVo AG0100 Wireless G USB Network Adapter for TiVo Series 2 and Series 3 DVRs

Setup was a breeze. It took very little time for the setup and recognition of the adaptor by my computer. It updates with the Tivo server and links to my pictures very well. I'm going to link with my Rhapsody server tonight and don't anticipate any problems. Anyone having Tivo should use it to it's full potential by getting one of these.

This product works great and we are happy to be able to use TIVO again. We did not have a phone line because of using cell phones. This brought this capability back to us. We are very happy. THANKS!

I recently purchased a Tivo Series 2 with wireless capabilities, so it was a no brainer to also purchase the Tivo Wireless Adapter to go with it. I'm glad I did. The wireless adapter allows the Tivo to sync with the programming system by using your wireless home network. No more phone cords running to the back of the tv. You can also program the Tivo to record a show remotely from your office or any another computer. This is awesome if you have left home for the day and forgot to record something or find out later there is a show you would like to record. The wireless adapter also allows you to sync with your home computer so you can order movies online from Amazon. I have done this once already and it is a really convenient feature. You can also play your MP3's through your tv set or watch slideshows of photos that are on your computer...again, totally wireless. If you own a Series 2 or Series 3 Tivo, I highly recommend this device! It is also small, sturdy and attractively designed with brushed steel.

This normally works exceptionally well and is easy to install. My daughter has two and it connects her 2 tivo units, so she can watch what is recorded on either one. Very cool. My router seems to be the problem because I can't seem to get mine to work. Will ask an expert to look at it.

This is the second adapter I have purchased. (I have two tivos now.) It works perfectly, and also supports the safer encryption - WAP 2. The only problem that I have had is that it did not receive well in my old house, where the transmitter was in the basement and the receiver was on the first floor on the other side of the house. My reception there said fair to poor, but it worked perfectly - receiving all the tivo information, and my recording requests from the internet. I would definitely buy this again.

Connect your TiVo Series2 DVR to your wireless home network with this TiVo Wireless G USB Network Adapter, and enjoy TiVoToGo, multi-room viewing transfers, music and photos served up to your television, and easy online scheduling of recordings...

APC Back-UPS ES 8 Outlet 550VA 120V APC Back-UPS ES 8 Outlet 550VA 120V

I installed one of these a few weeks ago after having a power outage where I thought I had lost a hard drive. I am running a Windows 7 desktop PC, router, cable modem, monitor and my telephone base unit on it. It came with a power management Windows application called PowerChute. I downloaded the software since it was newer than the version that came with the unit. It installed flawlessly. I let the battery charge up completely, then pulled the AC power cord with the computer running to make sure PowerChute did a shutdown. You can configure PowerChute to specify how long the you want the computer to keep running on battery power until forcing a shutdown. Then I charged it up again and forced a power outage with the software configured to keep the equipment on as long as possible. It lasted almost 7 minutes, which was a little more than predicted with my equipment load (per specifications). The UPS unit monitors AC voltage levels and noise on the AC line, and can be configured to force a switch to battery operation if either voltage or noise is outside of acceptable limits. PowerChute keeps a log of outages -- when they occurred and for how long was the system running on battery power. I leave my PC on almost continuously, but I put it into 'sleep' mode when I am done using it. While in sleep mode, the computer will *not* be awakened by the UPS if the power goes out. My equipment draws about 0.25 amps while the computer and monitor are in sleep mode, so it would take an outage of about 90 minutes until the UPS ran out of gas. One quirk I noticed is that when the computer is awakened (by me), the PowerChute tray application immediately tries to communicate with the UPS and briefly displays an error message. The UPS unit has 8 outlets - 4 can switch to battery power; the other 4 cannot. But they all have a small amount of 'surge' protection. The UPS unit does not get hot when charging or running on battery power. There are no odors such as I read about in another review. Haven't had any reason to contact technical support, so I am a happy, power-protected camper.

Exactly what I needed.. does the job Received on time Thanks

We usse this battery back-up device for our Rinnai on-demand hot water heater. Since it only has to power the small exhaust fan and control system, it should be able to give us hot water for several hours during a power outage. There has not been a power outage of any duration while we were using hot water since installing this battery back-up so it is still largely untested. We just think it would be a real bummer to be in the shower when the power goes out and within seconds only have cold water. Time will tell. Ask me in a year or two and I'll have a better review, I'm sure.

Let me first start this off with... I'm an IT Professional, 25yrs in the business and was one of those who didn't put battery backup on my PCs at home. I know... not too smart. It only took one surge and I lost my motherboard on my main PC. After replacing it, I bought a 550VA ES Unit. Here's my story; I had a PC in a box... my old one, so I built it while I waited on a new Mobo for my main PC. I went to FRYs and bought two APC 550VA's on sale for $36 each. Once the backup PC was built, it received APC unit#1 and off I went to build my main PC. I built the main PC, and connected it to my second APC unit#2. (literally) A day later, my weak 15A circuit breaker blew due to a hair dryer (this is one reason my Motherboard died in the first place) and apparently the APC battery died overnight as well. I woke to a dead battery on the APC unit, and no power. No prob... I turn off most of the items plugged into the APC unit and go reset the breaker (vowing to fix that breaker today, as it's SuperBowl Sunday and I don't watch football). I come inside the house, and hear the APC making a surge or clicking noise every second. Sounded like it was trying to reset something... or a relay but my printer was still plugged in, so the printer was turning on and off every second. Almost as if I was turning the breaker on and off like a light switch. I immediately turn off the printer and EVERYTHING plugged into the APC unit. The APC power button, did nothing for me. Even when plugged into power. This was interesting, because I thought; "What if the power came back on overnight, and attempted to power back up the unit and my equipment?!" ...it'd be like the worst power surge ever... every second? Trying to provide power? on, off, on, off, on, off... I don't know any kind of equipment that can take that kind of abuse. I then unplugged the power cords to the APC unit (which btw, is still plugged into my wall power which is hot). The APC unit made a quick noise, which I knew as a capacitor blowing... and then I heard flame (like a mini blow torch)... and soon, LOTS of smoke out of the APC unit. All of this, while I attempted to get it unplugged from the wall. Sadly, the APC unit is now dead. Presumably (without taking it apart) caught on fire internally, and my PC will not reboot. The motherboard lights come on... but the onboard reset/power buttons do nothing. SO at this very moment... I'm on my back up PC looking for possible solutions to the issue, hoping it didn't internally hurt my PC (that just took a week to build and install all my applications). If it truly caused damage to my PC... I'll be overly upset. I'm sure you'd understand. Why am I posting this here? I came across this looking for resolutions to my problem. And thought all of you should test your units to their full extent (power down, let internal battery die, power back up... and see if it survives) before your house burns down... or you lose equipment that you are so intrusting to your new APC Battery Backup. Thanks for listening, John

I purchased this item on recommendation after a new computer installation. I had no idea this item should be a must, especially when there is a power outage & everything gets shutdown improperly. It's better protection for my computer and other hardware items. Glad I got it, b/c it seems a power outage is all to frequent where I live.

Average Rating:

The Back-UPS ES offers affordable battery backup and surge protection for home computers. With enough power outlets to protect your entire system, built-in phone/fax/modem line (DSL compatible) protection and easy-to-install safe system shutdown software all make this power protection solution the best value for home and home office computers.
